Boutique hotels · Europe
A room in the city you came for
Single rooms, doubles and family suites in cities across Europe. Every request is answered by the people who run the buildings, with the room and the rate confirmed before you pay.
Who we are
We run boutique hotels in several European countries, and we keep them small on purpose.
Our rooms are bedrooms first: a proper bed, clean linen, somewhere to put your bag and a window worth opening. The buildings are chosen for their street and their character rather than a brand standard — which is why no two of our hotels looks the same.
The room types are the same wherever you land: a single room for one, a double for two, a family suite for a longer stay with children. Tell us the city and the dates and we confirm what is free, in euro, before anything is charged.

Travelling with children?
Family suites are the largest rooms we book: a double bed with space for the children’s beds, in the same building as everyone else.

Where you will be staying
Our hotels sit in several European countries. We do not publish a city list here because it changes as we take on buildings — tell us where you are heading and we will tell you what we have.
Before you book
- Send the city, your dates and how many of you there are.
- We reply with the room type, the rate in euro and the cancellation terms.
- You confirm, and we send the arrival details for your building.
Sleep
Three room types, one standard
Every room is booked by the room rather than by the bed, and the standard is the same whether you take the smallest single or the suite at the top.

For one
Single room
The smallest room we book, and the one we take ourselves when we travel for work. One person, one bed, a chair and a window.

For two
Double room
A bed for two, room for two bags and the rate confirmed for the room rather than per person.

For families
Family suite
A double bed with space for the children’s beds, so everyone stays on the same floor and in the same booking.

On your own
The single room is not a leftover
It is the room we built the rest around: one person, one bed, a desk under the window and the whole hotel outside the door. Book it for a night between trains or for a week of working somewhere else.

Two of you
A room for the two of you, priced as one
A double room gives you the bed, room for the bags and a rate quoted for the room. Arrive late, leave early, or stay the week — the booking does not change shape because there are two of you.

With the family
Space for the children, in the same booking
A family suite is a double room with room for the children’s beds. Book it as one room, keep everyone together, and tell us at the time of booking if you need a cot.
Booking
No booking engine, no hidden step
We do not run a live availability calendar, because rooms are held across several buildings and the picture changes daily. You send a request, we check, and you get an answer from a person who can see the rooms.
Nothing is charged until you have the rate, the room type and the cancellation terms in writing.
Four steps
- Send — city, dates, number of guests and the room type you want.
- Check — we confirm the room and the rate in euro.
- Confirm — you accept the terms and pay as agreed.
- Arrive — we send the address and the arrival details.
What this site will not tell you
- A star rating — we are not rated, and we are not going to invent one.
- A review score — we do not publish guest scores.
- A full city list — it changes, so we answer per request.
How we choose
A building is chosen for its street
We look for buildings with a street worth walking out into: a bakery, a tram stop, a park at the end of the road. Then we keep the rooms simple, so the rate goes into the address rather than into the lobby.
Each property is decorated to reflect the place it stands in. That is the part we will not standardise, and the reason two of our hotels never quite look alike.
Before you go
The practical part
Three groups of questions we are asked most often. Where an answer depends on the building, we say so instead of guessing.
Airports and stations
Tell us which one you are arriving at and we will tell you the simplest way to reach your building.
Late arrivals
If your train lands after the desk closes, say so in the request and we will arrange the handover.
Parking
Not every building has parking. Ask before you book and we will tell you what is nearby.
Getting around
We send the tram, metro or bus line that serves the address with your confirmation, not a taxi number.
Check-in
Check-in times differ by building. Your confirmation states the time for yours.
Check-out
The same: the time is written in your confirmation, not in a standard policy.
Luggage
Most buildings will hold bags before check-in and after check-out. Ask when you book.
Breakfast
Where a building serves breakfast it is confirmed with your rate. We do not assume it is included.
Family suites
A double bed with space for the children’s beds, booked as one room.
Cots
Ask in the request and we will tell you whether the building has one.
Rooms together
Tell us how many rooms you need and we will try to keep them on the same floor.
Longer stays
A week or more is worth asking about directly, especially outside the summer.
Notes from the collection
Occasional emails when we take on a building, or when dates open in a city you asked about.
No discount codes, no daily mail.
